I have a PhD in Conservation Biology from Massey University, New Zealand. I have been working with endangered birds since 2013 on islands like the Galapagos and the Chathams. Currently, my research aims to improve the understanding of the ecology, behaviour and population dynamics of endangered passerine birds on islands with the goal of facilitating the process of conservation translocations.

Research Interests

My research is multidisciplinary, mainly with an interest in population dynamics and the behavioural ecology of endangered birds. I focus on filling the ecological knowledge gaps that may help with the process of conservation translocations.

Although my experience is still limited, I'm also interested in habitat use and remote sensing, developing better techniques for predator control, invasive species eradication, island restoration and captive breeding of endangered birds.
